Share The Joy Thursday

Every journey contains twists and turns in the path ahead, as well as areas of shadows and light. While walking in the shadows my heart is filled with fear of the unknown which lies ahead of me. During this time it is so easy to feel as if I am alone. Joy is when I take that one step into the light and discover that I have never been alone.

May your journey be filled with light, friendship and loved ones!

Those periods of fear and darkness are so hard to navigate. But the grace in finding the light again is incomparable. Beautiful post, Jo.

Eugene Smith is one of my favorite photographers. He captures both the real and the ideal in many of his photos. He is a famous photographer of the Vietnam war era and has a photojournal called Minimata that would break your heart.

The tension of opposites--darkness and light when embraced, held and understood can be a creative force that helps us move forward in a way we might not have dreamed possible. There is important work to be done in the shadows. The heart is never alone that carries light within. Yours is certainly one my dear Jo.
Peace and light to you always,
Noelle

I love that photo :)
I am finding joy in even the most mundane things...like cleaning and laundry. I remind myself to be thankful for everything.

I was sicker than a dog yesterday and went to the doctor. So anything I published should be remarkable bcause I felt like crap. I ate some of my wife's stir-fried garlic chicken and that put the fear of God in my stomach. I had everything from pregnancy pains to worse. And talk about feeling like puke was next, I felt it all day long. So I can and do appreciate a chance to visit today. And I ran smack dab into a nice photograph that goes with the music so well.
